The machine cuts hedges, bushes and partic. the growing shoots of vines in vineyards, comprising cutter beams working in vertical and horizontal planes and mounted on a travel chassis, on which it is adjustable vertically and sideways for limited amounts. Each beam consists of adjacent and slightly overlapping circular saw blades coupled together by vee belts and driven by a high-speed motor or engine. The shaft of the lowermost blade on the vertical beam can be coupled to the motor, which is mounted by means of a bracket on the vehicle chassis.
