摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable to automatically stop a vehicle at all times at the specific stopping target position by determining a brake starting point depending upon various data, e.g., the load capacity, running speed, dead time of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A period T of time from when a ground starting marker is detected to when a vehicle reaches the prescribed speed is measured, the acceleration time Tr obtained by subtracting the value by the preset value of the dead time Td1 is obtained and is stored in a memory. Thereafter, a braking distance is obtained by calculating a stop signal from the marker when the stopping marker is detected by the load vs. braking distance of a speed parameter obtained in advance depending upon the accelerating time Tr, the running speed signal and the preset value of the stopping time deat time Td2, and the brake starting point is determined by subtracting the set target position by the braking distance.</p>
