PURPOSE:To form a controlling device for an induction motor which does not affect the adverse influence to a power source side by rectifying the output of the secondary coil of the wound-rotor induction motor at the braking time and applying it to the primary coil of the motor. CONSTITUTION:The electromotive force of the secondary coil of a wound-rotor induction motor 6 rectified by a 3-phase bridge circuit formed of controlled rectifiers 7-9 and rectifiers 10-12 is applied between two terminals of the primary conduc- tor by switching a main circuit by a contactor or the like at the braking time. Since braking force can be generated at the induction motor without connecting it to an external power source in this manner, electricity-saving effect can be expected, and adverse influence cannot be affected to the power source. |
