<p>The pressure transmitter has a double-sided working piston, which is connected at each end to a high pressure piston. Each high pressure piston (4) has two sealing rings (5). A pipe (9) opens into the space (6) between the seals, and extends into the bore of the high pressure cylinders. The pipe charges the space with a pressure, which corresponds at max. to the permissible pressure of the sealing rings. The two pipes are each connected to different spaces of the working cylinder (2), resp. to pipes (18,19) leading to these spaces. Due to this, a working cylinder space, and the intermediate space between two sealing rings of an active cylinder (7), are charged at the same time.</p> |
