PURPOSE:To prevent an electrc motor driven automobile from starting in an abnormal state by executing a check program for checking the signal states of all detectors immediately after a key switch of the vehicle is made ON. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 receives signals ACA, BRA responsive to the depressed amounts of an accelerator 8 and a brake unit 9 from an analog input circuit 7, a detection signal of the operating state from a main circuit 10 and a speed signal of a motor 132 from a speed detecting circuit 19, logically calculates them and controls the current flowing rates of the armature chopper and the field chopper of the main circuit 10 depending upon the calculated result. When a key switch 13 is closed ON to conduct a power source, the abnormality of the respective input signals are checked by a check program, and when there is any abnormal state, its lamp is lit for indication, and the power source is interrupted. |
