PURPOSE:To reliably detect tension of a belt, by detecting deviation of a lever or a member, such as a connecting rod, a plate or the like, which is interlocked with the lever. CONSTITUTION:When a belt 2 is in a normal rotation state, a given rotational moment is applied to a lever 16, with a pivot 20 as a center, by means of tortion springs 30A and 30B. When load increases and the belt tension decreases because of the elongation set of the belt 2, the lever 16 revolves counterclockwise, causing a connecting rod 39 and a diaphragm 51 to be deviated upward. Said deviation makes the diaphragm 51 connect with a contat 83a, so that a relay is actuated to sound an alarm. |
