<p>PURPOSE:To increase the output sensitivity for the same current by providing a Hall element, wherein concentrated magnetic poles are provided on the front surface and on the back surface, in the inside of a bushing, wherein a horseshoe shaped magnetic core is provided at the upper part. CONSTITUTION:The bushing 11 has a cylindrical inner space. One end of the bushing is opened and the other end thereof is closed. A Hall element 14, wherein the concentrated magnetic poles 19 and 19' are fixed by fixing parts 20 and 20', is provided in said bushing 11. The sum of the thickness t1 of said Hall element and the lengths l1 and l2 of the concentrated electric poles is approximately the same as the inner diameter D2 of the cylinder. When a current flows in an electric line 12, the lines of magnetic force pass the horseshoe shaped magnetic core 13 and the concentrated magnetic poles 19 and 19' formed between both poles thereof, and the focused lines of magnetic force are applied to the Hall element 14. The output of said Hall element is sensed via a printed circuit 15, a mounting leg 17, and connecting terminals 18. In this constitution, the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field sensitivity surface of the Hall element is enhanced and the output sensitivity can be increased.</p> |
