PURPOSE:To make it possible to grasp the contents of a memory circuit by verifying sound and to eliminate compensation errors, by differentiating the compensation verifying sound which is generated in response to the generation of compensating pulses for the contents of a memory circuit for every hour on the hour based on the contents of the memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:The time reporting signal of the number corresponding to the every hour on the hour is generated in a generating circuit 8 from the outputs of the memory circuit 4 for every hour on the hour and a counter 5 which counts the number of reporting hour. The compensating pulses are generated by the manual operation of a compensation switch, and the contents of the memory circuit 4 is compensated. The compensation verifying signal corresponding to the contents of the memory circuit 4 is generated in a variable frequency divider 9 in response to the generation of said compensating pulses, and the compensation verifying sound is generated 11. Since the compensation verifying sound is differentiated based on the contents of the memory circuit, the contents of the memory circuit can be grasped by the verifying sound, and the compensation errors can be eliminated. |
