<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display device which is resistant to heat, permits glass frit sealing and is highly durable by providing electrodes on the surface of a substrate for sandwiching liquid crystals, forming a polyimide silane isoindoloquinazolinedione type film on the substrate and electrode surface and rubbing the same to an oriented film. CONSTITUTION:The polyamide acid soln. obtained by causing the diaminosilane expressed by the formula to react with carboxylic acids anhydride, diamine such as 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether, diaminomonoamide such as 4,4'-diamino-diphenyl ether- 3-carboxylic acid amide or the like in N-methyl pyrolidone is coated on a glass substrate provided with transparent electrodes. Thence, it is heated for 2hr at 300 deg.C to cause ring closure, thereby forming a polyimide silane isoindoloquinazolinedione type high polymer film. This is rubbed, whereby an oriented film free from peeling is obtained. This yields the display device which does not cause degradation in orientation characteristic despite press-sticking under heating to 450 deg.C by glass frit and is highly durable.</p> |
