PURPOSE:To perform stable electric discharge machining work with constant concentration of organic compound in machining liquid, by providing a chemical supplier, for saturating the concentration of organic compound in the machining liquid, in a machining liquid circulating passage. CONSTITUTION:Machining liquid 10, after performing electric discharge machining work in a machining tank 12, is fed into a waste liquid tank 26, and its heavy sludge is deposited. The machining liquid 10 containing light sludge is fed to a filter 14 by a pressure pump 30, filtered to machining liquid containing sludge of 2-1mum and fed into a supply liquid tank 28. A chemical supplier 46 consisting of a vessel of wire net or the like is provided in an inflow port of the supply liquid tank 28, and the machining liquid solves an organic compound of cane sugar or the like in the chemical supplier 46 to hold the concentration of an organic compound in machining liquid in the supply liquid tank 28 to a constant saturation state. The machining liquid fed from the supply liquid tank 28 to the machining tank 12 is partially divided to flow and measured its specific resistance value by a measuring device 36, while a solenoid valve 32 is controlled to allow the machining liquid to partially pass an ion exchange tank. |
