Synergistic combination of (R,S)alpha-fluoromethylhistidine and cimetidine as an anti-ulcer agent.

There is disclosed a novel combination of two known compounds, (R,S) alpha -fluoromethylhistidine and cimetidine, which has surprisingly been found to synergistically reduce gastric ulcer incidence and histamine levels when administered to animals. Compositions containing the synergistic combinations are also disclosed.
