PURPOSE:To obtain satisafactory acoustic parts having a high Young's modulus and having no pore, by heating Al or an Al alloy in a furnace, and dispersing and mixing a silicon carbide fiber in it. CONSTITUTION:Al or an Al alloy 2 is put into a furnace 1, then it is heated and melted. A silicon carbide fiber 4 of prescribed size is put in it, and is dispersed and mixed in Al or the Al alloy 2. In this case, they are agitated enough by an agitator 5. Subsequently, a billet 6 is prepared by Al or the Al alloy 2 which has been obtained by dispersing and mixing the silicon carbide fiber in the furnace 1. After that, a pipe 8 is formed by an extruder 7 by use of the billet 6. In this case, the silicon carbide fiber 4 which has been dispersed and mixed in Al or the Al alloy 2 is oriented in the extruding direction. |
