<p>1299980 Ceramic composition HORIZONS RESEARCH Inc 30 July 1970 [5 Aug 1969] 37005/70 Heading C1J A ceramic setting composition comprises (a) water, (b) an acidic phosphite consisting of P 2 O 5 and an oxide of Ca, Al, or Zn or a compound of these oxides basic in reaction with phosphoric acid, (c) calcium silicate and (d) fly ash. The composition lies inside the triangle formed by the points 5 : 5 : 90, 60 : 10 : 30 and 10 : 60 : 30 on the calcium silicate/fly ash/total phosphate plus water ternary diagram, and the relative proportions of calcium silicate to total phosphate plus water must be between 10 : 90 and 70 : 30. Carbonate or nitrite may be added to render the composition porous, or alternatively gas may be introduced mechanically as the composition sets. 0À01 to 0À3% of cationic surface active agent may also be included.</p> |
