PURPOSE:To accurately conduct cleaning operation and to improve the sensitivity of flaw inspection, by mixing a solvent having a low melting point with cleaning agent such as olefin used for osmosis flaw inspection and also, resolving inorganic salts to a water layer. CONSTITUTION:Until about 40pts.wt. low boiling point solvent such as alcohols, esters is added to olefin and/or hydrocarbon halogenide and this solution is put in a glass vessel. Then, water added about 10-40pts.wt. inorganic salt is put in from its upside and two layers construction of which the upper layer is masking liquid and the lower is washing agent, is made. And, penetrant dissolved dyestuffs or fluorescent dye in a solvent of petroleum group or chlorinated hydrocarbon group is applied on the surface of material to be inspected and this material is impregnated in the glass vessel. Then, the material to be inspected is pulled up after removing the penetrant on the surface of the material to be inspected by dissolving it and existence of defect part of surface opening is inspected with a good sensitivity by conducting developing operation by using a prescribed developer. |
