PURPOSE:To obtain a proper level of stylus pressure, by controlling the distance between the signal recording face and the center of rotation of a cantilever by means of a conductive rotary bar instead of a cantilever. CONSTITUTION:For a stylus pressure control cartridge 17a, a shaft 17as of a rotary bar 17a instead of a cantilever 7al is supported rotatably centering on the center of rotation equal to that of the lever 7al to a cartridge case 17ac. The bar 17al is made of a conductive member, and the length from the center to the tip of the rotary shaft 17as is set identical with a distance (h) from the center of the shaft 17as of the lever 17al to the signal recording face of a disk 1 which is regarded optimum in the reproduction mode. A control screw 15 is screwed in to gradually raise up the height of a carrier 7b, and thus the lower end part of the bar 17al comes into contact with a turntable to conduct. As a result, a prescribed distance (h), i.e., the prescribed stylus pressure is set. |
