PURPOSE:To permit the assortment operation for the next manuscript to be strated during copy assortment and speed up copying by allowing an assorting means to be driven at the positions of two different accomodating shelves at a same time, in a collator for copying papers. CONSTITUTION:The deflector 74-1-74-20 of each shelf is operated successively by the operating piece 80a, 80a of the endless belt driven by a magnetic clutch. The operating piece has the highest position at home position HP, and when the first copy of the first manuscript is fed, the first driving piece 80a lowers and allows the deflector 74-1 to get into the passage through the driving piece 102-1 and stops for a prescribed time and the copy is accomodated. When accomodation terminates, the first driving piece 80a lowers again, and the operation is repeated successively, and when the final copy is accomodated, the working piece returns to HP. The second manuscript having the even number is treated, by the second operating piece 80a of the second driving belt, as by the same operating piece of the first operating piece, and the next operation can be started even during operation. |
