PURPOSE:To prevent a rear-end collision accident on a highway be changing the flickering rate or brightness of a stop light so that the stop light can be destinguished from that of a hazard light. CONSTITUTION:The flickering rate or brightness of a stop light is changed so that the stop light can be distinguished from that of a har hazard light. As a result, when preceeding and succeeding cars travel at night or in a tunnel on a highway, the preceeding car definitely transfers information to the succeeding car whether or not it brakes to a stop. |
