PURPOSE:To avoid the lowering of quality of a reproduced signal due to a code error, by carrying out a proper correction of data based on the occurring state of the code error without adding the information other than the redundant information for detection of the error to the recording information. CONSTITUTION:A data train concerning the digitized analog signal is supplied to a buffer memory circuit 5, and a preholding circui 9 holds the data if it is correct. In addition, an error correcting method deciding circuit 13 decide to deliver the correct data held at the circuit 9 as it is or the arithmetic mean of the correct data and another correct data following an error data based on the occurring state of the code error of the data. An arithmetic circuit 25 obtains an arithmetic mean from the output of the circuit 13. |
