PURPOSE:To improve the service lift of a nozzle by providing a first nozzle having the mirror-like finished spherical surface edge and a small hole through which a laser beam is passed and a second nozzle having a shielding gas supply port and a mirror-like finished cylindrical body to enhance the absorbtivity of the laser beam on a work. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent spatters, etc., from a laser heating part from scattering to a lens and damaging it, the first nozzle 5 is provided with the minimum hole 7 through which the laser beam is passed without a difficulty and arranged in the vicinity of a laser beam condensing part. Further, the tip part of the first nozzle is formed to the mirror-like finished spherical surface and reflected to the laser heating part and the condensing is made possible thereon. By this method, since the absorbtivity of the laser beam 2 on the work W is improved and moreover, as a result, the absorption of the laser beam with the first nozzle 5 is reduced, the service life of the first nozzle 5 is improved. Next, the second nozzle 6 is extended up to the vicinity of the work so that a laser beam machining part and its vicinity can be sufficiently shielded by shielding gas. Then, the oxidation of the work and the occurrence of defects at the time of machining can be prevented. |
