PURPOSE:To offer copying paper, which can inhibit color development on a coated surface during pressure-typeprinting, excellent in transferrability and coloring property, by applying a coating liquid containing a coupler, a developer, wax and a surfactant onto a support. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid prepared by dispersing a microencapsulated electron-donating colorless coupler (e.g. Rhodamine B-anilinolactam) and optionally a microencapsulated developer (e.g. Japanese acid clay) and wax (e.g. candelilla wax) into water is mixed with 3-1.5wt% (to based on the solid content) of a surfactant (e.g. an alkylbenzeneslfonate). The mixed coating liquid is then applied onto a support, and dried to form a coated layer. Thus, the staining of the coated surface before pressing is desensitized, and a colorless coated surface can be maintained. |
