<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat recovery rate, by preheating organic solid matter with moving hot water and then dehydrating by heating it with steam. CONSTITUTION:A plularity of consecutive pressure vessels A1-Ai are fieled with organic solid matter and closed tightly. They are connected with each other by opening valves B1-Bi-2 and the organic solid matter is preheated with high-pressure hot water. Subsequently, at the same time when steam is fed into a vessel A1, a valve Bi-1 is opened to connect a vessel Ai-1 with a vessel Ai and hot water in a vessel A1 is forced out into a downstream vessel A2-i. At that time, the inside of the vessel A1 is in an atmosphere of steam so that the organic solid matter is heated and dehydrated and hot water comprising condensed water from the steam and moisture released from the solid matter is discharged through the valve E1 of a drain-pipe to the outside. Subsequently, the valve 13, is elosed to shut off a pipeline C1 and the vessel A1 is depressurized before the organic solid matter dehydrated is taken out. During the period, the feeding of steam into a vessel A2 is begun.</p> |
