<p>PURPOSE:To ensure discharge of drain, to prevent discharge of excess compressed air as far as possible and to enable stable operation of the titled apparatus over a long period, by providing an automatic valve means to a discharge means of drain of compressed air in a pressure-swing absorption-type oxygen concentration apparatus furnished with a means for supplying compressed air. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus is a pressure-swing adsorption-type oxygen concentration apparatus furnished with one or more adsorption beds filled with an adsorbent capable of selectively adsorbing nitrogen or oxygen and with a means for supplying compressed air and having the following structure. A compressed air cooling means is attached to a pipe connecting the compressed air supplying means and the adsorption bed. A gas-liquid separation means and a liquid discharging means are attached to downstream side of the cooling means. The liquid discharging means is furnished with an automatic valve means which can be opened or closed at a timing synchronous to the pressure-swing adsorption cycle of the oxygen concentration apparatus. The opening and closing operation of the automatic valve means is preferably controlled with a timer means.</p> |
