<p>PURPOSE:To permit the wind receiving area to be controlled easily and certainly as necessary by making the wind receiving area of a blade variable in the wind mill equipped with a signal blade or plural pieces of blades. CONSTITUTION:A wind mill apparatus 1 is installed at the top of a tower 2, and a wind mill 3 has blades 4a and 4b, each of which has the first blade member 5 and the second blade member 6 which are positioned in the direction of each radius vector R. The second blade member 6 is expandable in the direction of radius vector in relation to the first blade member 5. The first hollow blade member 5 is closed at the base end part 7 and fixed to a shaft of revolution through a mounting rod 9. The second blade member 6 is accomodated in the first blade member 5, and in the intermediate part between the both described the above, a plurality of rollers are arranged, thus providing smooth relative displacement. The screw shaft 13 which is fitted with a nut 14 is revolved in the normal and reverse direction through normal or reverse revolution of a motor 12, and the blade member 6 is inserted into and drawn-out from the blade member 5, and thus the wind receiving area of the blade 4a, 4b can be changed.</p> |
