MAGNETIC BRUSH DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic developer from spilling from both ends of a developing roll by providing sealing magnets to both end parts of the roll spacially from a rotating magnet. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable rotary magnet 3 is supported by supporting parts 12 via bearings 14 in a nonmagnetic sleeve 2 of a developing roll 1. Sealing magnets 15 are provided spacially from the magnet 3 in both end parts of areas where the roll 1 oppose to a latent image holding member 4. The spilling of a magnetic developer 5 from both end parts of the roll 1 is prevented by these magnets 15.
