<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled ink composition, having excellent lubricity and capable of suppressing abrasion of a ball holder at the tip and obtained by containing respective specific amounts of an alkali salt of a higher fatty acid and sequestering agent in a composition containing a water-soluble organic solvent and water-soluble dye. CONSTITUTION:The aimed ink composition obtained by containing 0.02-5.0wt.% alkali salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g. ammonium stearate) and 0.1-1.0wt.% sequestering agent (preferably ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or diethylene triaminepentaacetic acid) in a water-based ink composition containing a water- soluble organic solvent (e.g. non-drying solvent, such as ethylene glycol) and a water-soluble dye.</p> |
