PURPOSE:To suppress the temperature rise of a rotor coil in the vicinity of a core by opening a vent hole from the axial end of a core at the rotor body, opening the hole with the air gap and passing the cooling air in the hole, thereby balancing the cooling. CONSTITUTION:A vent hole 12 passing through the vicinity of the surface of a rotor is opened from the axial end of a core 11 at the rotor body 9, and is opened with the air gap between the rotor and a stator. An air flow rate control plug 13 is provided at the opening of the air gas side to control the cooling air flow rate passing through the hole 12. In this manner, the cooling effect of the core 11 can be raised to balance the cooling of the rotor body 9, and the temperature rise of the rotor coil disposed in the vicinity of the core can be suppressed. |
