PURPOSE:To prepare a water-based ink having high water resistance and fixability, and low tendency of blotting and migration to the reverse side, and writable even to the surface of glass, plastics, etc., by mixing an oil-soluble dye, an O/W-type synthetic resin emulsion, a water-soluble organic solvent and water. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink is obtained by stirring and mixing (A) an oil- soluble dye, (B) an O/W-type synthetic resin emulsion (e.g. acrylic, vinyl acetate, or styrene-butadiene resin emulsion), (C) a water-soluble organic solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol, diethanolamine, and (D) water. The amount of the component (A) is pref. 0.1-50wt% based on the resin component of the component (B), and those of the components (B), (C) and (D) (including the water in the emulsion) are pref. 2-30wt%, 1-40wt% and 40-85wt%, respectively, based on the amount of the ink as a whole. USE:Suitable as writing, printing, recording, or stamping ink. |
