<p>A shoe sole moulding material is partly filled with chopped steel wool, to improve wear and skid resistance. Esp. applicable to tennis shoes. Abrasion resistance improved by 55% by addition of 20% by wt. of chopped steel. Wt. increase may be compensated for by using a partly cellular structure.</p> |
