PURPOSE:To install more terminals economically by connecting a packet switching network and terminals through a device which has the function of branching and inserting packets. CONSTITUTION:While there is no packets from a terminal B, a clock is sent to terminals A and B under the control of a packet detecting circuit 8. The terminal A is connected to a packet switching network PSN and packets are sent to the PSN without time delay. A packet, when sent from the terminal B, is stored temporarily and when a break of packets is detected by a packet detecting circuit 8, the clock to be sent to the terminal A is intercepted, so that while the next packet is prevented form being sent, the stored packets are sent to the PSN. |
