PURPOSE:To shorten a pickup arm by driving the pickup arm along a guide rail in fast-forwarding and returning operations. CONSTITUTION:For the fast-forwarding operation of a pickup, the supply of electric power to plunger 56 is intercepted to turn a link 55 and an operating plate 54 with a spring 55b, and a pickup arm 53 further rotates on a guide rail 51 to press-contact its driving part 53b with a rubber belt 61. Then, the belt 61 is turned by the rotations of a motor 59 through a gear 59b, a gear 60a and a pulley 60L. Therefore, the pickup arm 53 press-contacting a driven part 53b is driven on the guide rail 51 by frictional force. |
