PURPOSE:To increase a reproduction frequency band and to flatten frequency characteristics by using the fiber of silicon carbide as an essential material, by giving the fiber binding and excipient properties by using the thermosetting resin, and by further pressing it thermally by using thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:Fiber of silicon carbide having a 10mum average diameter is cut to about 5mm. length and after they are dispersed in water uniformly, the water is sucked to form sediment of fiber (1.5g) on a scooping net. In this state, moisture is vapored for drying and then phenol resin is sprayed by up to three times (4.5g) as much as the weight of sediment and dried for adhesion without causing deformation and breaking. In a die, a peeled fiber layer is mounted and a thermally melting polyamide film having 15mum thickness and 175-180 deg.C m.p. is arranged for thermal-pressing at 190-210 deg.C. In this process, the phenol resin is cured completely to increase fiber-to-fiber binding force, and the melted pilyamide resin is packed between fibers to achieve complete filling and the generation of internal loss, thus suppressing the resonance of the diaphragm. |
