PURPOSE:To reduce the frequencies of occurrence of nondesirous page fault, by managing a cell belonging to a page fixed area and a cell belonging to paging-enable-area with separate free list terminal. CONSTITUTION:A cell linked to an in-use list terminal 10 is mixed with a cell belonging to a page fixed area 15 and a cell to a paging-enable-area 16, and a free list terminal is sectioned into 12F for page fixed area 15 and 12P for paging-enable- area 16. If a cell recovered with garbage processing belongs to the area 15, it is linked to the free list terminal 12F and if it belongs to the area 16, it is linked to the free list terminal 12P. |
