The arrangement is used for metered dispensing of an antiseptic liquid or the like from a cartridge (11) into a liquid, e.g. water, in an upwardly open container (2) which has a partition (4) separating it from a downwardly open space (3). A narrow opening (6) in the partition connects with the outlet (19) of a pump which is operated by vertical movement of one component (bellows 2) relative to another component (ring 8a,9). The pump inlet (14) connects (16) with the interior of an interchangeable cartridge (11) which is vertically movable in the space (3) and whose bottom (11b) supports (13) the bellows. The upper end of this cartridge (11) is closable by a cover (10) which is releasably (10a,11a) and sealingly (18) connectable to the component (9).
