PURPOSE:To reproduce a signal repeatedly without rewinding a magnetic tape by holding a reproduced signal from the reproduction part of a recording and reproducing device in a storage part, and by outputting the contents of the storage part by a reproduction repetitive signal. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is recorded on a recording medium 3 by a recording part 2 and the recorded signal is reproduced 3 by a reproduction part 4 and applied to a switching part 13. The reproduction part 4 and applied to an analysis part 7, a pattern holding part 8, and a synthesis part 9. When a reproduction control signal 12 is applied from a reproduction control signal generation part 11 to the analysis part 7, the switching part 13 selects and outputs a reproduced signal 5 as an output signal. During the application of the control signal, the reproduction signal is written in the pattern holding part as a time-series signal. When the reproducted control signal 12 is not applied to the analyzer 7 any more, the analyzer turns off and when the control signal is applied from a reproduction repetitive signal generation part 14 to the synthesis part 9, the switching part 13 outputs the signal, stored in the pattern holding part, as an output signal. |
