The torque converter housing is of circulation type, which is reversible without change of drive direction of rotation, simply by changing the direction of the gyro. With the moving input shaft and idling output shaft, the idle run of the clutch is adjustable by decoupling of the gyro drive. For attaining a small dimension of the adjusting members and latching elements the thrust pot has a small-diameter hub with a sliding fit on the driven shaft. The hub carries a race of a double roller bearing in an interference fit. The setting ring of the bearing is rollably decoupled from the housing rotation and is connected non-rotatably with the thruster. Alternatively the radio stud of the hub are replaced by strengthened strips axially protruding through the housing bottom against the driven gear.
