<p>Wood screws are joined to glass panels by inserting them with the flat end of the cylinder head a few millimetres countersunk in the central bore of a wooden reel as used for cotton. An epoxy resin adhesive such as UHU PLUS (RTM) is introduced in the recess and over the face end before the glass panel is applied. If the wood screws are 50mm long for a 30mm long reel, they can be used to be attached to timber or plywood structures. This creates a good fixture for wall plates or glass dressers in kitchens.</p> |
