PURPOSE:To prevent forgotten pickup of message, by simply informing the presence of distributed message from the center to the terminal and receiving the message with the request from the terminal side. CONSTITUTION:When the distribution message MSG is produced at a center CT during the processing of job, the center stores it to a memory MEM and informs only the message number MN to a terminal TE at the same time. The terminal TE informed for the message number MN is displayed on a specific area AR2 on the screen of a CRT display DISP. After the end of job processing, when the keyboard KB is operated and the program picking up the distribution message of the message number is started, a host CPU of a center CT reads out a message MSG of the message number from the memory MEM and transfers it to the terminal TE and this message is displayed on an area AR1. |
