PURPOSE:To track a calling subscriber over a wide range by returning information on the calling subscriber from an exchange to which a subscriber to be called belongs to that to which the calling subscriber belongs when there is incoming. CONSTITUTION:When a calling subscriber SUBA belonging to an exchange EL1 originates, a trunk BWT10 is selected on the basis of the dial information and a selection signal is transmitted to a signal transmitter-receiver DT20 through a signal transmitter-receiver DT10 and a repeater station ET1. The CPU2 of the ET1 sends the 2nd selection signal including circuit number information on a BWT21 to a DT21 and a DT30. An incoming-side EL2 selects a BWT30, corresponding to the BWT21, through a DT30 to acquire a subscriber SUBB to be called. A CPU3 transmit information on the SUBB from a storage device MEM3 to the ET1 via the DT30. The CPU2 then sends a tracking answer signal to the CPU3 of an LE2. The CPU3 outputs the received information to an output equipment to inform a person in charge of maintenance of the information. |
