PURPOSE:To expand the utility of a device and to increase the reliability, by providing a portable small-sized information device and a chargeable power supply consisting of an external station and solar cells. CONSTITUTION:A portable small-sized information device 1 consists of a central control operation device, storage device, display section, input and output section and power supply section, and the function of the device 1 including the control for the display and input/output sections is controlled with the basic program stored in a ROM in a storage device and a program made and stored in an RAM by the user. The forming of this program is processed at an external station 2, and in this case, the display or data-in is made at a display section 4 and a keyboard 5. The external station 2 consists also of a central control operating device, storage device, the display section 4, input and output section and power supply section, and it has an interface and a strong file processing ability. Further, an automatic charging system is provided for the power supply section for the portable small-sized information device and the external station 2 to avoid destruction of data in the RAM due to power supply voltage drop. |
