PURPOSE:To use all character pattern recording areas as the areas recording characters, by recording patterns linking ruled patterns on each space area, when ruled patterns are recorded on a character pattern recording areas. CONSTITUTION:When ruled pattern data is read out, a decoder 3 makes a timing signal s5 to high level. An AND gate 14 is set with the timing signal s5, an address signal from a vertical counter 4, and timing signal s6 from a horizontal counter 5. The setting of the AND gate 14 gives the address signal s4 from the vertical counter 4 to a recording control section 6 via an OR gate 15. Thus, a recording head 7 records patterns linked to the ruled line pattern of the character pattern recording area to a space area SP. |
