PURPOSE:To simplify the Kanji (Chinese character) input of address, by enabling to input the address to a computer system through the selction of the operator by the input of the head Kana (Japanese syllabary) for the pronounciation of the address. CONSTITUTION:When the head kana letter or address code for pronounciation of the address is inputted from an input device, the address file 4 is retrieved with the head Kana letter or the address code, and if one data is read out from the address file 4, the address of the Kanji (Japanese characters) expression is registrated, and if a plurality of the addresses in Kanji expression are read out, the address of the Kanji expression is displayed on the screen of a display device 5. When one of the addresses in Kanji expression is selected, the address in Kanji expression is registrated. |
