PURPOSE:To improve the heating efficiency of high-frequency heating, by forming a heating coil into an 8-shape, and arranging the coil underneath an elongated object to be heated horizontally and in pallarel with the object. CONSTITUTION:Underneath the elongated object 1 to be heated (such as an insert embedded in a weatherstrip) is arranged horizontally the 8-shaped heating coil 12 with the longitudinal axis thereof in parallel with the axis of the object 1, so that the elongated object 1 that is continuously delivered is heated by high-frequency heating. Each of the loops of the heating coil 12 generates an induced current, and the induced currents would not interfere with each other, so that the heating efficiency can be increased. In the case of a weatherstrip, after the insert 1 is preheated by this high-frequency heating, microwaves are radiated to cure the coated rubber layer. |
