PURPOSE:To allow fluid to perform a uniform accelerated or decelerated movement by determining a force to which a damper is subjected in accordance with a force magnifying ratio of a toggle link mechanism for making a power exerted to the fluid substantially constant. CONSTITUTION:When a spire 6 reaches at a friction portion 8 through the movement of a piston 2, a hydraulic oil is confined in a braking chamber 9, while moving toward a toggle link mechanism 4 with being decelerated in accordance with a retarded force exerted to the piston 2. Meanwhile, the movement of the piston 2 causes the toggle link mechanism to expand, a movable platen 5 to climb making a sharp curve and the toggle link mechanism to perform a force magnifying operation. In order to make a retarded force exerted to the platen 5 substantially constant, the larger the force magnifying ratio of the toggle link mechanism, the less the effective diameter of the spire 6 is made, thereby a force received by the piston 2 through the spire 6 is decreased. Accordingly, the movable platen 5 performs a uniform accelerated or decelerated movement so that impact forces take values around their average. |
