<p>PURPOSE:To recover easily and conveniently noble metals such as gold and silver, by adding lead to speiss containing noble metals to dissolve lead therein and by separating a lead phase containing the noble metals. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate amount of lead in added to the speiss obtained from the scrap treatment and the like of parts for the electronic industry and molten and mixed before settling nable metals in the speiss are transferred into the metallic lead layer by the treatment. The lead layer is separated and the same treatment for the remaining speiss layer is repeated to separate the lead layer, noble metals such as gold and silver containing no arsenic, iron and the like and further valuable metals such as copper and lead can be together recovered easily and conveniently by this method.</p> |
