PURPOSE:To form accurate sewing data easily and rapidly by operating and converting increment data between seams into absolute value data, and by monitoring and confirming it on a CRT display device. CONSTITUTION:Various operation key signals and a picture signal from a stylus pen 12 are supplied to a CPU80 by a pen input part 82 and, after processed as prescribed, written in an RAM84 as sewing data. When a pattern display key is pushed with a pen 12, respective increment data stored in an increment data RAM98 are added together successively to be stored in an addition data register 100. Then, the contents of a minimum data register 102 are retrieved to find a picture reference position on a CRT20, and consequently pattern data converted into absolute values are stored in X and Y data latches 88 and 90 temporarily. The CPU80 selects the addresses of the latches 88 and 90 through an address decoder 96, and the data are D/A-converted 92 and 94 and displayed on the CRT20. The sewing data, after being monitored through the CRT20, are transferred to an ROM86. |
