PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in processing ability for a central processor, by commonly providing a processor for information conversion exclusively to a terminal, and converting the content of memory by the information conversion exclusive use of processor without the central processor for exchange processing. CONSTITUTION:The information from a terminal 1 is stored in a memory 8 via a transmission control processor 4 and a bus circuit 9. A central processor 7 starts an information converting processor 10, and this information is converted into the information according to the coding format of a terminal 3 to be transmitted. The processor 10 independently operates with the central processor 7 and a direct memory access mechanism. When the operation of the information conversion is finished, a transmission control processor 6 is started with the central processor 7, and the information from the terminal stored in the memory 8 and converted for information is picked up at the transmission control processor 6 and transmitted to a terminal 3. |
