PURPOSE:To form a low-cost and high-reliability rotor for an induction motor, by a method wherein the contact portion between projection sections protruded from the iron core of a conductor and an end ring in pressed in the radial direction of the end ring for ultrasonic junction. CONSTITUTION:An iron core 1 is formed by stacking cores 11 for the iron core 1 and arranging slots 12. Next, conductors 2 are inserted in the slots 12. Furthermore, end rings 3 forming the external periphery in round shape are arranged at both ends of the iron core 1. Then, the end rings 3 and the iron core 1 are held by anvils 5 from both sides in the F direction for fixing. Next, an ultrasonic horn 6 is moved in the P direction and projection sections 21 protruded from the iron core 1 of the conductors 2 are thrusted against the end rings 3 for ultrasonic junction. |
