PURPOSE:To use a number having a digit less than the digit of a complete subscriber number as a representing number, by providing a table of interpretation to a central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:Numbers 1, 2, 3 which are less by one digit than a complete subscriber telephone number (4 digits) are given as an abbreviated dial representing number to a representing group G. When an outgoing register trunk ORT or an incoming trunk ICT receives the abbreviated dial representing number, it transfers the number to a central processing controller CC, which receives the said number and transmits this number to a list of interpretation. When it is judged as the abbreviated dial number, and when the figure 0 in abbreviated dial is returned in the abbreviated dial representing number, 0 is added to the end of the numbers 1, 2, 3 already received to set a complete representing number in 4-digit. In this case, numbers 1230-123n are given to subscriber telephone sets of the representing group and the number of a master telephone set 1230 is taken as the representing number. |
