<p>PURPOSE:To normally read out data on the surface of the front side of a cassette and to settle a cassette inserting position into a recording and reproducing device by storing the cassette into a cassette storage case based on its front side and inserting the cassette into a cassette storage part of the recording and reproducing device based on its back side. CONSTITUTION:The cassette storage case 13 is stored with either a regular size cassette 12R or a small size cassette 12S based on the front side of them respectively, and the indicated data on the front surface pat of the stored cassette are read out normally by a manipulator of a robot. Then, the cassette is transferred by the robot to a cassette inserting part 109 of the recording and reproducing device to be stored on its back side base, so that the cassette inserting position is settled in its proper position whatever the cassette size is different.</p> |
