<p>The heating element contains, in a metal crucible (14) surrounded by a box (13), a filling (9) which produces heat by chemical reaction. The crucible (14) is clamped in between a metal heating plate (2) and a heat storage plate (6) and surrounded by an annular air chamber (15). The box is lined with an insulation (7) made of rock wool which preserves the bracing of the crucible. The heating element is particularly suitable for the heating of preserves in tins. <IMAGE></p> |
